Nadia Melliti in ’The Little Sister’

Cannes best actress winner Nadia Melliti for Hafsia Herzi’s The Little Sister, Suzanne Lindon and Abraham Wapler from Cedric Klapisch’s Colours Of Time, and Elsa Houben in the Dardenne brothers’ Young Mothers are among the 32 emerging French actors shortlisted for the annual Cesar Revelations.

They have been chosen by a special committee of the Cesar Academy composed of 14 different casting directors each year.

The winners of the most promising actor and the most promising actress will be announced at the Cesar Awards on February 27, 2026, in Paris.

Bertrand Bonello will direct a short film featuring the Revelations that will be screened at an event in Paris on January 19, 2026 when each one is paired with a cinematic mentor.

The shortlisted talent will be whittled down to a final five nominees in each category that will be unveiled with the full nominations list on Jan. 28, 2026.

Chanel is the official partner for the full Revelations initiative aimed at spotlighting the next generation of French stars. Last year’s winning Revelations were Maiwene Barthelemey for Holy Cow and Abou Sangare for Souleymane’s Story.
