Channing Tatum and business partner Reid Carolin will direct and Tatum will star in road trip comedy Dog, which FilmNation and CAA are introducing to worldwide buyers at AFM this week.
FilmNation has scheduled a presenation at the market on Thursday for the story about a former military serviceman who takes his hound and sets off down the Pacific coast to attend his best friend’s funeral.
Tatum (21 Jump Street, Magic Mike franchises, Foxcatcher) co-wrote the screenplay with business partner Reid Carolin and Brett Rodriguez.
Tatum and Carolin are producing with Free Association partner Peter Kiernan, and Gregory Jacobs. The producers have earmarked a 2020 spring-summer production start.
