The three-day Transmedia Next event will run April 12-14 in London, with speakers including transmedia experts Lance Weiler and Anita Ondine, media educator Inga Von Staden, Jonathan Marshall of SlipStream.

The hands-on programme will provide training from industry leaders across film, TV, gaming, writers, agents and broadcasters.

Weiler was at Sundance where he staged Pandemic, which incorporated film, mobile, online, print, data visualizations and real world experiences.

Weiler said: “The connected world that we live in provides amazing new opportunities for storytellers. As the world changes literally in front of our eyes due to social media, a new generation of entertainment will also emerge as audiences seek richer engagement within the stories they touch. Transmedia Next brings together top practitioners working in the field as instructors to help share process, best practices while also enabling delegates to step into an actual transmediaexperience. Those who attend leave with a better understanding of how storytelling is evolving and most importantly how they can better position themselves and their projects to take advantage of it.”
