Panorama Entertainment has acquired all US rights to Niki Caro’s The Vintner’s Luck from the New Zealand Film Commission.

The film premiered in Toronto and stars Vera Farmiga and Keisha Castle-Hughes in the adaptation of Elizabeth Knox’s novel about the life and loves of a peasant winemaker in early 19th century France.

The Vintner’s Luck will receive its US premiere at the Sedona Film Festival in California.

Panorama Entertainment president Stuart Strutin negotiated the deal with the Commission’s head of sales and marketing James Thompson.
