Paris-based firm Entourage Ventures has entered into a strategic investment agreement with Italy’s Our Films, owned by Mediawan, to invest in films the company produces in partnership with Mubi.

The partnership extends the three-year co-production, financing and distribution agreement between Rome-based Our Films and Mubi, launched in 2025 for ambitious European films with international potential. Entourage Ventures has hopped aboard to invest alongside Our Films in the projects developed under this partnership.

Our Films was created under the Mediawan banner in 2024 by Mario Gianani and Lorenzo Mieli to develop projects with international reach, including Feel My Voice, the Italian adaptation of La Famille Bélier, and Portobello, Marco Bellocchio’s series streamed globally on HBO Max.

The collaboration between Our Films and Entourage Ventures aims to provide additional financial structuring and investment capacity for auteur-driven films with global ambitions and support projects from their earliest stages.

Current features reflecting the Our Films-Mubi collaboration include Paweł Pawlikowski’s Cannes Competition title Fatherland, starring Sandra Huller, produced by Our Films alongside Mediawan’s Chapter 2, and Felix von Groeningen’s Let Love In from Our Film.

“Their investment and financial expertise will help us support ambitious auteur projects at the highest level, giving filmmakers the resources and confidence to build films with real international reach,” said Our Films co-founders Mario Gianani and Lorenzo Mieli of Entourage Ventures.

Entourage Ventures co-founder Julien Delajoux and Matthias Nicodème added: “The deal marks a new step in our collaboration with Mediawan. Alongside Our Films, we are involved from the earliest stages, to structure financing and support projects that meet the highest standards, together with the best partners and most renowned producers, reflecting our ambition in the industry.”
