eOne Films has acquired North American rights to the comedy Walter and will release day-and-date theatrically and on VOD in spring 2015.

Anna Mastro directs from a screenplay by Paul Shoulberg based on his short story of the same name about a cinema employee who believes himself to be the son of God.

Andrew J West stars with William H. Macy and Virginia Madsen.

eOne brokered the deal with CAA. Beta Cinema represents international rights at AFM.

  • FilmBuff will release J C Khoury’s relationship comedy-drama All Relative theatrically and on VOD. The Shoot First Entertainment film will premiere at the Woodstock Film Festival on October 18 followed by screenings at the Austin Film Festival. Jonathan Sadowski and Sara Paxton star.
  • The Croatian foreign language Oscar submission Cowboys will receive its LA premiere at the Aero Theatre in Santa Monica on October 23. Cowboys receives its US premiere at the Mill Valley Film Festival and tells of a theatre director who stages a fateful play in his home town based on Hollywood Westerns. Suzana Pandek of Kabinet Film is the producer.
