EXCLUSIVE: Debut feature from Andrey Khvostov [pictured] tells the story of a young Brit who discovers he has a secret half-brother in Russia.
Russian distributor Exponenta Film has picked up writer-director Andrey Khvostov’s debut feature Saint Petersburg for theatrical release in Russia.
The English language story of a young Brit discovering that he has a secret half-brother in Russia was produced by Khvostov’s Bear In Mind Films with the UK-based Curb Denizen Films
New York Film Academy graduate Khvostov was named as one of Screen’s Future Leaders at last year’s Cannes Film Festival .
International sales for Saint Petersburg are being handled by Stelios Ziannis’ Aktis Film International.
Exponenta’s release lineup has recently included such diverse titles as Frances H, The Young & Prodigious Spivet and App.
