Ten curated acquisition titles comprising TIFF Industry Selects include Magna Studios’ Straight Circle directed by Oscar Hudson and sold by Global Constellation, and Shirley Frimpong-Manso’s Nigerian fashion world-set drama Stitches represented by Blue Pictures Entertainment.

The annual showcase brings a sample of “standout, audience-ready” available features among the many other titles that will be traded during the festival (September 4-14) and comes one year before the inaugural TIFF: The Market.

TIFF said on Monday the selection offersa curated showcase of titles positioned for the global marketplace, including compelling stories, established talent, and breakout debuts from around the globe”. Liane Cunje programmed the selection.
