EXCLUSIVE: The UK’s Independent Entertainment has unveiled a first look at Elliott and Zander Weaver’s UFO thriller Arctic Skies, starring Morfydd Clark and Ariyon Bakare.
Independent has also landed deals with the Middle East (Front Row), Germany (Plaion) and Latin America (Gussi), with sales continuing at TIFF.
Inspired by one of the most well-documented UFO encounters on record, it follows the journey of a cargo plane crew who, while flying 40,000 feet above the Arctic Circle, become the target of otherworldly attention.
UK producers are Jamie Gamache and Connor O’Hara of Lowkey Films and the Weaver brothers’ company Elliander Pictures.
The film is made in association with Independent Entertainment, Enriched Media Group, Analogue Entertainment, Playhouse Studios, Fractal Picture and Featuristic Films, which serve as executive producers on the project.
