Former Element Pictures exec launches Ireland-UK distribution venture Beach Pictures

EXCLUSIVE: Former Element Pictures and Warner Bros Irish executive Dave Reid has launched an Ireland-UK distribution venture, Beach Pictures.

The company will focus on animation, independent cinema, non-English language films and strategic acquisitions, and aims to provide a curated and commercial approach to connecting global content with local audiences.

Beach Pictures will also offer bespoke services for international sales agents seeking local market expertise and will sub-distribute in Ireland on behalf of international studios and distributors. The company will announce its first slate of projects later this year.

“Beach Pictures was born out of a desire to bring commercial, daring and distinctive films to the forefront for audiences and a commitment to showcasing these stories on the big screen,” said Reid.

Reid was head of sales at Element Pictures from 2018-25, as well as holding the role of theatrical sales manager at 20th Century Fox and Warner Bros.
