EXCLUSIVE: Italy’s Vision Distribution has scored key sales on Francesco Bruni’s The Other’s Profile ahead of its world premiere at the Rome Film Festival this week.
The film has sold to Breaking Glass for the US and Canada; Busch Media for Germany, Austria and Switzerland; Palace for Australia and New Zealand; Fidalgo for Norway; and Beta Film for Bulgaria.
The Other’s Profile is inspired by the novel of the same name by Irene Graziosi and stars Pilar Fogliati and Ginevra Francesconi as two women from radically different worlds whose lives become unexpectedly intertwined.
The film is produced by Mediawan-owned Palomar and Vision Distribution, in collaboration with Sky, and will be released theatrically in Italy by Vision Distribution. The producers are Carlo Degli Esposti, Nicola Serra and Marco Grifoni.
It will premiere in Rome’s audience-oriented Grand Public section on October 23.
A screenwriter and director, Bruni’s directing credits include 2012’s Easy, which won him the best new director prize at Italy’s David di Donatello awards, and 2020’s Everything Is Going To Be Alright.
