Heretic Outreach has boarded its first projects ahead of IFFR.

The Athens-based company is working on Margarita Manda’s Forever, in the Bright Futures section of International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) (Jan 21-Feb 1).

Anna Mascha and Kostas Filippoglou star in the Greek drama about an engine driver and train passenger who are lonely in Athens, before they surrender to love. Faliro House produces.

In Rotterdam’s Limelight programme, Heretic is representing The Sky Above Us, a Dutch-Serbian production directed by Marinus Groothof.

The drama is about three strangers who put their lives at risk during the Belgrade bombings in 1999. CTM Pictures produces with co-producers Entre Chien et Loup, Art & Popcorn and Heretic.

Heretic Outreach’s Ioanna Stais is attending IFFR from Jan 26-28.

Heretic Outreach - a sister to Greek production outfit Heretic - was announced in November 2014 as a new sales and festivals consultancy to help the global reach of innovative films from Southeastern Europe.
