
Nicky Murphy’s vampire comedy horror I Love Paris took the 30th Fantasia’s best international feature audience award at the weekend, in results announced on Tuesday.
Yusuke Iwasaki’s AnyMart took the Gold Audience Award for Best Asian Feature, and Masanao Kawajiri’s Cherry And Virgin received the Gold Audience Award for best animated feature.
Other top winners included Cho Chul-young, Kim Jong-woo, and Kim Shin-wan’s The Seoul Guardians for best documentary, Michael Gabriele’s Unholy Night for Best Canadian Feature, and Harrison Houde’s Tight Lettuce for Best Quebec Feature.
Festival brass also said that the 2027 edition will run in Montreal from July 15 through August 1.
As previously reported, Hanna Bergholm’s Nightborn won the Cheval Noir for best film presented on July 25. This year’s 30th edition of Fantasia ran July 16-August 2.
