‘All About Corinne’

EXCLUSIVE: Ahead of its gala presentation at TIFF on Monday (September 14), All About Corinne has sold to Canada (Axia Films), Australia (Madman), Germany (Lighthouse), Austria (Filmladen), Switzerland (Frenetic), Belgium and Luxembourg (Imagine), the Czech Republic and Slovakia (Film Europe), Poland (Galapagos), the Baltics (Bestfilm), Israel (New Cinema), Brazil (Bonfilm), South Korea (TCast), China (HugoEast) and Bulgaria (Cinelibri). Skeye has taken airline and ship rights.

The comedy feature, in which Isabelle Huppert stars as a background actor who befriends a successful actress (Sandrine Kiberlain, playing a version of herself) believing her big break is around the corner, lands at TIFF following its world premiere as the closing film of Locarno Film Festival’s Piazza Grande section in August.

Emmanuelle Bercot, Diane Kruger, Anne Marivin and Ana Girardot, who all play fictional versions of themselves, also star.

Caroline Bonmarchand produces for Avenue B Productions, with France 3 Cinéma co-producing. Memento will release the film in France on October 7.

All About Corinne is Fitoussi’s eighth feature and sees him return to the inner workings of the entertainment industry after directing several episodes of Netflix hit Call My Agent!, including those featuring Huppert and Kiberlain.

His previous credits include Copacabana and Paris Follies (both with Huppert), Pauline Detective starring Kiberlain, and Two Tickets To Greece.

Indie Sales’ fall slate also includes Gabriel Osorio’s animated feature Brave Cat, Carine Tardieu’s upcoming All The Little Live Things and Jasmila Žbanić’s Quo Vadis, Aida? The Missing Part.
