
EXCLUSIVE: Jack Davenport and Sophia Di Martino have started filming Sonia Guggenheim’s satirical comedy Blueberry Inn at Castle Howard in Yorkshire, UK.
US-based Katrina Kudlick produces for Fever Dream Studios, whose credits include SXSW premiere Appendage with the UK’s Hadley Greswold of Dancing Fox Entertainment.
Dancing Fox Entertainment is a collaboration between Guggenheim, Greswold and executive producer Angus Finney. Blueberry Inn is Dancing Fox’s first feature.
Guggenheim previously co-directedThe Mad Whale in 2017.
The executive producers are Mariyah Dosani and John Glencross of UK lender Calculus and Michael Laundon and Michael Bassick of US-based financier M2, which is part-funding the film. Further financing comes from the Dancing Fox Foundation, a non-profit set up to support film and TV.
Blueberry Inn is about an emotionally stunted butler who is inexplicably gifted a broken-down inn from the lord for whom he worked, He is tasked with uniting three chaotic employees and a cheeky pig to save the inn from disaster.
Chloe Lea, Alexander Arnold and Michael Maloney round out the cast.
