UK actors Jason Isaacs and Celia Imrie will be honoured with the Raindance Icon award at this year’s festival, which runs June 18-27 in London.
Isaacs stars in Christopher M. Anthony’s debut Heavyweight which is the festival’s opening night gala. The boxing drama also stars Nicholas Pinnock, Jordan Bolger and Blake Harrison. It follows a wildcard boxer ahead of a title fight he is unlikely to win.
Isaacs most recently starred in HBO series The White Lotus and UK drama The Salt Path while his other notable credits include the Harry Potter franchise,The Death Of Stalin and Mass.
Imrie stars in Netflix’s The Thursday Murder Club, having previously starred in films including The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, Calendar Girls, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again and the Bridget Jones Diary series.
Previous recipients of the Raindance Icon award include Michael Caine, Olivia Colman, Guy Ritchie and Sally Hawkins.
