Former Paramount CMO Josh Greenstein is joining Sony as president of worldwide marketing and distribution.
Greenstein will take over from Jeff Blake and oversee the day-to-day management of Sony Pictures Entertainment’s (SPE) worldwide theatrical marketing and distribution activities.
He will report to SPE co-chairman and chairman of Sony Pictures Entertainment Motion Picture Group Amy Pascal.
Prior to Paramount, the executive served as head of marketing for Dimension Films.
Deal will become most significant in otherwise sluggish acquisitions activity.
“This decision has been made in order to ensure the safety of all festival guests, staff, and volunteers.”
Nominations will be announced on December 11.
