‘100 Nights Of Hero’

EXCLUSIVE: Vue Lumière has acquired UK-Ireland distribution rights to Julia Jackman’s starry UK independent title 100 Nights Of Hero.

The film will close the 69th BFI London Film Festival on Sunday, October 19, in its UK premiere, with members of its ensemble cast expected to attend. Vue is scheduling a UK-Ireland theatrical release for January 2026.

It had its world premiere as the closing film of the independent Critics’ Week sidebar at Venice Film Festival last month.

Based on Isabel Greenberg’s graphic novel, 100 Nights Of Hero follows Cherry, whose neglectful husband departs after placing a secret wager to test her fidelity; and her sharp-witted maid Hero, as they fend off a dangerously seductive visitor.

Emma Corrin, Nicholas Galitzine and Maika Monroe lead the star-studded cast, which also includes Felicity Jones, Amir El-Masry, Richard E. Grant, Tom Stourton and one of the first screen roles for pop star Charli XCX.

It is produced by Helen Simmons and Stephanie Aspin for Erebus Pictures, with Grant S. Johnson for Project Infinity.

“The UK has long needed a fresh theatrical distributor with commercial and artistic ambitions - so we are incredibly excited to be working with Vue to bring our film to UK audiences. The perfect home for 100 Nights of Hero!” said a statement from the producers.

”Having been on the BFI board for 10 years, including three as chair, I am delighted to be part of such a high-profile film and prestigious festival premiere,” said Vue CEO Tim Richards. ”We are fully committed to supporting British talent and building audiences for new British films with Vue Lumière. This is a perfect film for us.”

”I am thrilled to be working on bringing this film to the UK and Ireland and to be joining forces with the team behind it,” said Eve Gabereau, director of distribution at Vue Lumière.

Independent Film Company acquired North American rights before Cannes this year, and will release the film in the US on December 5.

WME Independent is handling international sales.
