Lionsgate’s executive vice-president and general sales manager David Spitz has greed to a new long-term contract with Lionsgate.

Spitz has served 13- years at the studio and its predecessor companies and was promoted to his current position in 2007.

During his tenure with Lionsgate and its predecessors, Spitz has worked on the Saw and Tyler Perry franchises, as well as Crash, Fahrenheit 9/11, and The Blair Witch Project.

He reports to Joe Drake, president of Lionsgate’s Motion Picture Group and co-COO.
