The deal with Sikelia Productions means Paramount will develop The Devil In The White City to star Leonardo DiCaprio, Untitled Leonard Bernstein Project and mob drama The Irishman to star Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci and Al Pacino.

Scorsese previously collaborated with the studio on The Wolf Of Wall Street, Hugo, Shutter Island, Shine A Light and No Direction Home and is preparing HBO drama series Vinyl with Paramount Television for 2016.

“Marty is one of our industry’s most prolific and celebrated filmmakers and he is also an integral part of the Paramount family,” said Paramount chairman and CEO Brad Grey.

“We are looking forward to many more years and many more great films at Paramount Pictures.”
