Netflix said on Wednesday that its previously untitled feature in which Brad Pitt reprises his role as the stuntman from Once Upon A Time In Hollywood is called The Further Mis-Adventures Of Cliff Booth.
David Fincher directs the potential awards contender from Quentin Tarantino’s screenplay and the film will open exclusively in Imax for two weeks starting on November 25 before it debuts on the platform on December 23.
The Further Mis-Adventures Of Cliff Booth sees Pitt reprise his Oscar-winning role as the unflappable stuntman as the action picks up in 1977, roughly eight years after events in Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.
The cast includes Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Peter Weller, Matt Groove, JB Tadena, Corey Fogelmanis, and Karren Karagulian. Pitt and Ceán Chaffin serve as producers.
Sony Pictures released Once Upon A Time In Hollywood in 2019 and the ensemble grossed $393m at the global box office. It earned 10 Oscar nominations with wins for Pitt and production designers Barbara Ling and Nancy Haigh.
