Nicole Clemens has joined Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios as vice president and head of international originals, replacing James Farrell.

Clemens will oversee the development and production of a large slate of films and series across more than 20 territories worldwide, leading teams covering Europe, Latin America and Asia Pacific, starting on July 7.

She is currently LA-based, and will relocate to Prime Video’s London office, reporting into Kelly Day, vice president, Prime Video International.

Clemens most recently held the position of president of Paramount Television Studios. She previously held posts at Paramount+, Anonymous Content, FX, ICM Partners, Rod Holcomb Productions and Spelling Television.

Her appointment comes at a time of transition for the Amazon leadership team, with Day taking up an expanded role after Jennifer Salke stepped down as head of Amazon Studios in March. Chris Bird also left as director of Prime Video UK in March. Farrell left his post as head of international originals at Amazon MGM Studios in February and Laine Kline stepped down at the end of 2024 as head of international production at Amazon MGM Studios.
