Pyramide Films sets deals on Philippe Bézart’s documentary ‘Nous, L’Orchestre De Paris’

EXCLUSIVE: Philippe Béziat’s Nous, L’Orchestre De Paris has inked deals for France’s Pyramide Films.

The documentary has sold to South Korea (AUD), Taiwan (Joint Entertainment), Finland (Cinema Mondo) and Sweden (Njuta).

Pyramide launched the title at the UniFrance Rendez-Vous in January. It depicts a rehearsal of the 120 musicians of the acclaimed Orchestre de Paris, under the leadership of young prodigy conductor Klaus Makela.

The film is produced by Philippe Martin for France’s Les Films Pelléas.

L’Orchestre De Paris is the latest music-centric documentary from Béziat, after four opera titles: 2021’s Gallant Indies, which was nominated for the Cesar for best documentary; 2012’s Becoming Traviata and Noces: Stravinsky-Ramuz; and 2009’s The Song Of The Blind.
