Tim Roth in ‘260 Days’

EXCLUSIVE: OneTwoThree Media heads to the EFM in Berlin next week with worldwide sales on two English-language Croatian features– Tim Roth war drama 260 Days and coming-of-age drama Tidepools featuring Honor Swinton-Byrne.

Jakov Sedler directed 260 Days, which earned more than $480,000 at the Croatian box office last November and is inspired by the true story and novel of Marijan Gubina.

The film follows 10‑year‑old Marijan and his family as they are betrayed by friends and neighbours and forced into 260 days of captivity during the Balkan War. The family regains their freedom and, years later, a chance encounter in Marijan’s store forces him to confront the past. The cast includes Sam Hazeldine, Armand Assante, and Ángela Molina.

Completed drama Tidepools from first-time director Marius D’Gasco centres on a young boy uprooted by war who escapes to a quiet coastal town where he forms an instant bond with Misha, unaware that Misha’s father is a powerful enemy officer. As tensions rise, the boys are forced to choose between loyalty and survival.

Sam Spruell, Swinton-Byrne, and Jessica Madsen star and the feature is produced by 4 Film and hero Squared, who produced 2023 Sundance premiere Infinity Pool.
