Piece Of Magic Entertainment is set to theatrically release YouTube star Markiplier’s debut feature Iron Lung in several European territories.
The horror feature will open on January 30 in Germany, Austria, Poland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Czechia, Slovakia, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.
Markiplier, whose real name is Mark Fischbach, produces, writes, directs and stars in Iron Lung - a post-apocalyptic-set feature where a convicted individual is sealed inside a decaying submarine and sent to investigate a desolate moon. It is based on the video game of the same name.
The YouTuber is self-distributing the film in the US, also on January 30, where presales have reportedly surpassed $5m.
Iron Lung is also being released in the UK (Shear Entertainment), Canada (DeVuono Releasing) and Australia and New Zealand (Rialto Distribution).
Piece Of Magic specialises in event releases, including Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party Of A Showgirl, which grossed £3.5m in the UK and Ireland last year.
Markiplier has 38 million subscribers and more than 23 billion total views on his YouTube channel as of late 2025. His content includes playing video games and narrative projects.
