
EXCLUSIVE: Carlos Rincon’s Prestige International Pictures (PIP) is heading to Cannes with international sales on The Holiday Hitman starring Nick Sagar and Julio Cesar Cedillo from Sicario. Saban will release the action comedy in North America.
Sagar plays the titular character who must fend off a group of bounty hunters after infuriating a crime lord (Cedillo) for refusing a job on Christmas Eve so that he can spend the holidays with his family.
Montana Manning, Florence Hall, Gabriela Ochoa Perez, Ricky Norwood, Adam Korson, Vas Blackwood, and Eloise Lovell Anderson round out the key cast.
Bradley Stryker directed the film from an original screenplay he co-wrote with Charley McDougall. Producers are McDougall and Jamie McLeod-Ross for Empire Studios alongside Sagar and Stryker. Arthur Corber, McLeod-Ross, Neil Aldridge, and Janet Brooks serve as executive producers.
The UK film is currently in post-production. Prestige president Rincon negotiated the deal with McLeod-Ross and McDougall on behalf of Empire Studios.
Prestige is currently in pre-production on survival disaster thriller Avalanche Express and holiday rom-com It’s All Greek At Christmas. Sales credits include Fantasia and Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival sci-fi action adventure Heavens: The Boy And His Robot; Kaniehtiio Horn’s 2024 TIFF premiere and multiple Canadian Screen Awards nominee Seeds; and fantasy teen horror Crom’s Fury.
