Netflix has unveiled the supporting cast for its adaptation of Jane Austen’s Pride And Prejudice as production begins in the UK. A first look image from the series has also been revealed.
The supporting cast includes former Screen Stars Of Tomorrow Louis Partridge as Mr. Wickham and Daryl McCormack as Mr. Bingley, alongside Rufus Sewell as Mr. Bennet, Freya Mavor as Jane Bennet, Jamie Demetriou as Mr. Collins, Rhea Norwood as Lydia Bennet, Siena Kelly as Caroline Bingley and Fiona Shaw as Lady Catherine de Bourg.
Hopey Parish and Hollie Avery debut as Mary and Kitty Bennet, respectively.
Further cast includes Anjana Vasan, Sebastian Armesto, Rosie Cavaliero, Saffron Coomber, James Dryden, Justin Edwards, James Northcote, Eloise Webb, and Isabella Sermon.
They join the previously announced Emma Corrin, Jack Lowden, and Olivia Colman.
The six-part limited series is directed by Euros Lyn, who helmed Heartstopper series one and two. Screenwriter is Dolly Alderton, based on Austen’s novel.
Executive producers are Corrin, Laura Lankester, Dolly Alderton, Lyn and Will Johnston and Louise Mutter for Lookout Point. Lisa Osborne is the producer.
