EXCLUSIVE: The Paris and LA-based company is also launching international sales on comedies Become Awesome and Inside Girl

Paris and Los Angeles-based Other Angle Pictures has launched international sales on Alexandre Arcady’s psychological thriller The Last Concert (Fausse Note), starring Benoit Poelvoorde and Kad Merad.
Set in a Paris opera house in the 1990s, the film is about a renowned orchestra conductor who enters into a tense psychological battle of wits with a die-hard fan when the two men get trapped in the opera house during a snowstorm.
Arcady and Diane Kurys produce through their production company New Light Films, and Moonlight Films will release in France on March 25.
Other Angle’s 2026 slate also features Leo Grandperret’s feel-good comedy Become Awesome (Deviens Genial), which stars Manu Payet as a down-on-his-luck history teacher who lies his way into a job as a German teacher to be closer to his daughter, only for chaos to ensue when he is forced to organise a last-minute class trip to Germany.

Melha Bedia and Marie-Julie Baup co-star and the film is produced by Maxime Delauney and Romain Rousseau of Paris-based production house Nolita Cinema. Apollo will release in France on April 15.
Other Angle will also launch sales for Inside Girl (L’Infiltrée), directed by and starring Ahmed Sylla as a bumbling police officer assigned to a highly sensitive undercover mission who disguises himself as a woman to get close to a fearsome gang of female warriors.
It co-stars Michele Laroque and popular French rapper-actor Kaaris. Daniel Tordjman produces for 74 Films. Inside Girl world premieres at January’s Alpe d’Huez comedy film festival and Pan Distribution will release it in France on February 11.
All three films will have their market screening premieres at this week’s Paris Rendez-Vous (January 13-20).
The company has also boarded French actor Gregoire Ludig’s directorial debut Gilles United about a 41-year-old driving instructor so passionate about his dreams of a professional football career in England that his daughter avoids him and his wife leaves him, leading him to start over and attempt to prove them wrong.
Ludig stars alongside Nina Meurisse, Benjamin Tranié, Bernard Campan and Sarah Suco. Producers are Blagbuster and Nolita Cinema. Apollo will release the film in France.
