EXCLUSIVE: Obscured Releasing has boarded international rights to Elliot Tuttle’s 2025 Edinburgh Film Festival queer thriller Blue Film and is screening the film at the EFM in Berlin.
Kieron Moore stars as a fetish camboy who agrees to spend the night with an anonymous client played by Reed Birney and discovers a disturbing tie to his past.
Bijan Kazerooni, Will Youmans, Adam Kersh, and Waylon Sall served as producers, with Mark Duplass as a consulting producer, and Birney and Eric Kohn serving as executive producers.
Veteran publicity and marketing executive RJ Millard and Bill Guentzler recently launched Obscured Releasing as a sales and distribution company and will release Blue Film theatrically in the US on May 8.
The feature received its North American premiere at Newfest last autumn and went on to play OUTShine Film Festival, Philadelphia International Film Festival, and Montclair Film Festival, among others.
