‘Good Vibes Only’

EXCLUSIVE: France’s Studio TF1 is kicking off sales for Reem Kherici’s Good Vibes Only (Pour Le Plaisir), about the true story of a groundbreaking sex toy, and Ludovic Bernard’s Everybody Lies (Avis De Tempete), about the disappearance of the Mona Lisa aboard a trans-Atlantic ship.

The Paris-based outfit will launch international sales for both titles at next week’s AFM (November 11-16).

Good Vibes Only stars Alexandra Lamy and François Cluzet and is based on the true story of a married couple who invented groundbreaking sex toy ‘the Womanizer’, which forever changed the way women experience pleasure. Produced by Coda producers Vendome Films and Baxtory Films, the film is in post and Studio TF1 will release it in France in 2026.

Kherici, a well-known actress/filmmaker in France whose previous credits including Wedding Unplanned and 2024’s Cat & Dog – The Great Crossing, is co-starring in Good Vibes Only as well as directing.

Everybody Lies is set aboard a French ocean liner tasked with ferrying the Mona Lisa to the US at the height of the Cold War to be loaned to a museum. En route, the priceless painting goes missing, leading to a wild race against time to recover it.

The film is shooting now led by an ensemble cast that includes Christian Clavier, Elsa Zylberstein, Francois Berleand, Maxime Gasteuil, Stephane De Groodt and Sarah Stern. Olivier Kahn is producing for UGC, which will release the title in France next year.

Bernard’s previous French comedy hits include How To Survive Without Mum and The Climb.

Alice Damiani, SVP international film sales at Studio TF1, said: “These are two bold and distinctive comedies that capture the diversity and creative energy of French cinema today. Good Vibes Only is an intimate, modern and audacious story, while Everybody Lies offers a delightfully offbeat historical adventure with a truly flamboyant touch. Both are character-driven films that will make audiences laugh, think, and be moved.”
