Sundance is expanding its footprint of in-person venues at the upcoming hybrid edition from January 19-29, 2023.
The festival is bringing back Park Avenue Theatre (the DoubleTree Hilton Hotel Pak City) and has added Megaplex Theatres at The Gateway in Salt Lake City.
Mainstay Park City venues Eccles Theatre, Egyptian Theatre, Holiday Village Cinemas, Library Center Theatre, The Ray Theatre, Redstone Cinemas, and Prospector Square will all be operating.
The regular Salt Lake City venues in action will be Broadway Centre Cinemas, Grand Theatre (at Salt Lake Community College) and Rose Wagner Center.
The online platform is activated on January 24 and visitors will get access to an on-demand, curated selection of all competition titles (U.S. Dramatic, U.S. Documentary, World Cinema Dramatic, World Cinema Documentary, and NEXT), as well as selections from other sections.
Festival staff and volunteers will be masked and will test weekly. Attendees are asked to wear masks in all Sundance Film Festival spaces and encouraged to test before and during the festival.
