‘All That’s Left Of You’

The Match Factory has unveiled a slate of international distribution deals for Cherien Dabis’ All That’s Left of You, which world premiered at Sundance.

The film, which played in the Premieres section of the Sundance Film Festival in January, has closed deals in key territories including Italy (Officine UBU), Spain (Karma Films), Benelux (September Film Distribution), Switzerland (trigon-film), Turkey (Bir Film), Latin America (Cine Canibal), and Indonesia (PT Falcon). Negotiations for additional territories are underway. A North American deal is currently in negotiation.

Distribution in Germany and Austria has been secured independently with X Verleih, while French rights have been acquired by Nour Films.

All That’s Left of You is set for its European premiere next month in the Special Screenings section at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.

The historical drama starts with a Palestinian teenager confronting Israeli soldiers at a West Bank protest. His mother then recounts all the historical moments which have brought her son to this moment in time, starting with his grandfather’s displacement from Jaffa in 1948.

All That’s Left of You is produced by Thanassis Karathanos, Cherien Dabis, Martin Hampel, and Karim Amer, with Janine Teerling and Marios Piperides as co-producers. It is a production of Pallas Film, Twenty Twenty Vision Filmproduktion, Displaced Pictures, and Nooraluna Productions, co-produced by AMP Filmworks and ZDF/ARTE.

It was made with the support of Eurimages - Council of Europe, Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung, Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg, and the Cyprus Deputy Ministry of Culture, and realized in association with OSN+, Media City Qatar, Medan Productions, Baird Films, National Creative Industries Group (NCIG), Ten X Group, Film Clinic, and Doha Film Institute, with executive production by The Red Sea Fund, a Red Sea International Film Festival initiative.
