EXCLUSIVE: Screen can reveal the first trailer for Vytautas Katkus’s The Visitor, ahead of its world premiere today (Monday, July 7) at Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.

The Visitor is competing in the main Crystal Globe competition.

The film follows Danielius, a 30-year-old man who returns to his hometown to sell his parents’ flat. With nowhere to rush to, his visit lasts longer than expected as he reconnects with the people of the town.

Katkus’s feature directorial debut was written with Slow director Marija Kavtaradze, and produced by Brigita Beniusyte and Marija Razgute for Lithuania’s M-Films, Norway’s Staer and Sweden’s Garagefilm.
