Cannes Film Festival director Thierry Fremaux has unveiled his selections for the Cannes Week screenings at Ventana Sur next week.
The roster kicks off on November 27 with Andrey Zvyagintsev’s Loveless, about a couple on the brink of divorce whose son goes missing.
Fatih Akin’s In The Fade starring Cannes best actress winner Diane Kruger as a woman out for revenge plays on November 28, followed the next day by Robin Campillo’s AIDS drama 120 BPM, which also screens on December 3.
November 30 brings crime tale Good Time from Benny and Josh Safdie starring Robert Pattinson and Benny Safdie, while Valeska Grisebach’s Un Certain Regard European drama Western screens on December 1.
Rounding out the selection is Redoubtable on December 2. All screenings take place at Cine Gaumont. Ventana Sur runs from November 27-December 1.
