TriStar Productions chairman Tom Rothman has named his first production executives. Separately, New Regency president and CEO Brad Weston has appointed a production head.

Lindsay Sloane joins from Hypnotic as svp focusing on television, while on the film side David Beaubaire arrives from Paramount as evp and Nicole Brown from Good Universe will serve as svp.

The trio will begin work on the Sony lot in November.

Pam Abdy (pictured) has been named president of production at New Regency, effective immediately.

Abdy joins from Scott Stuber’s Bluegrass Films where she served as president, overseeing and producing films such as Identity Thief and the upcoming 47 Ronin, Endless Love and Kill The Messenger.
