The Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards have moved to April 4 after the Grammy Awards dated itself on March 14, a date previously selected by SAG.
The Guild’s leadership said in a statement is was “extremely disappointed to hear of the conflicting date” after it had announced March 14 last July.
The Grammys moved from January 31 in response to the Covid surge across the US and in particular Los Angeles county.
Nominations for the 27th Annual SAG Awards are due to be announced on February 4.
Retrial to be scheduled after US Labor Day US holiday on September 2.
Harris and Qualley join the previously announced Glen Powell.
Executive will report directly to founder and CEO Greg Silverman.
“It is revolting that theatre and cinema should be used as a cover for abuses that have nothing to do with art.”
The film is set to premiere in Competition.
