Warner Home Video (WHV) is cutting out the middleman after informing its wholesalers that starting in October it will apply direct relationships only with kiosk and mail-order subscription vendors.
WHV will be in discussions with both kiosk and mail-order subscription vendors about their options.
The options offered to Redbox and kiosk vendors will include a 28-day window, while mail-order subscription customers will also have a day-and-date revenue sharing option.
The company has also revised its wholesaler terms to prohibit the purchase and sale of WHV previously viewed product.
