The 79th Annual Writers Guild Awards will take place in Los Angeles and New York on February 1, 2027, the Guild said as it announced its timetable for the upcoming season.
The body will unveil its original, adapted and documentary theatrical screenplay, television, and streaming nominees on January 8, 2027.
The submissions window in all categories spans August 31 to November 10 and the preliminary voting window runs from December 14-20. Final voting runs January 12-26, 2027.
Last season’s theatrical winners were Sinners, One Battle After Another, and 2,000 Meters To Andriivka.
