Garrett will oversee the company’s film strategy and slate development, including sourcing and developing projects, guiding talent relationships, managing all feature productions, and overseeing post-production.

The executive joined AGC Studios in 2018 as VP of acquisitions and since 2024 has served as EVP of production, overseeing production of titles like Richard Linklater’s Hit Man, Anna Kendrick’s Woman Of The Hour, Justin Kurzel’s The Order, and Ron Howard’s Eden.

Garrett recently wrapped production on Babies from Lauren Miller Rogen and heads into a busy start to 2026 with production scheduled to begin on Ellie Foumbi’s Fleur starring Halle Berry, and David Yates’ Phantom Son with Renée Zellweger.

AGC chairman and CEO Stuart Ford said, “Zach’s well-merited rise up through the ranks at AGC since we launched the company has been a fantastic success story and is a testament to our culture of fast tracking the careers high-calibre, ambitious executives. Zach has evolved into a dynamic, savvy and immensely capable right hand to me in growing the film side of AGC’s business and I’m excited to keep further building our film slate and our talent relationships with him in the coming years.”

Garrett added, “I’ve had the privilege of working with AGC’s leadership – people who combine sharp instincts with real persistence to bring projects to life. I’ve also been fortunate to collaborate with extraordinary filmmakers, producers, and crews, and I’m proud of the films we’ve made. I’m grateful for all of it, and excited for what’s next.”
