Stockholm-based NonStop Film Sales has confirmed that it will be handling world sales on Icelandic director Ari Kristinsson's adventure drama No Network - A Modern Adventure. The film was made through Kristinsson's production company Taka Film Production.

Kristinsson, a veteran of the Icelandic film industry, has scripted and directed two previous features, The Adventures Of Paper Peter and Count Me Out. He is also well-known internationally for his work as a cinematographer. He has photographed 14 films including Fridrik Thor Fridriksson's Oscar-nominated Children Of Nature. Kristinsson ran the Icelandic Film Corporation with Fridriksson until 1999 before establishing Taka the following year.

The new film tells the story of Kali, a young boy brought up by a single mother in the suburbs of Reykjavik. He is obsessed with the world of movies and computer games, a world of imaginary characters. This world gives him relief from the problems of real life.

No Network was produced by Kristinsson as well as by Margret Maria Plasdottir and Richard Welnowski.
