Barely one week after Ocean's Twelve smashed through the $100m barrier the Warner Brosrelease seeks an assured follow-up when it opens in South Korea today (7).

The caper sequel has amassed $113.9m and goes out in theAsian territory through Warner Bros Pictures International on an unspecifiednumber of screens.

The 2001 original opened top in South Korea in spring 2002with a mighty $2.3m haul from 46 theatres. A smaller debut in Argentina thisweekend is also expected to deliver.

The Polar Express alsopassed the magical mark for the distributor last weekend and stands on $104.3m.It has no major openings this weekend.

Universal/Working Title's Bridget Jones: The EdgeOf Reason goes out in Italy today on 403prints and executives will expect a strong result given that the original ended2001 as the third biggest grossing picture at the Italian box office.

The romantic comedy sequel has grossed $180m to date throughall distributors.

Paramount's animated tale The SpongeBob SquarePantsMovie opened in Australia on Jan 6 and hadtaken $9.5m as of Jan 2.

Sony Pictures Releasing International's Kung FuHustle has grossed $35.1m, ChristmasWith The Kranks has taken $20.6m, and Closer is on $5.7m. All grosses are as of Jan 2.
