Odd Lot International has boarded Michael Meredith's drama The Open Road starring Jeff Bridges, Justin Timberlake, Kate Mara and Mary Steenburgen.

Odd Lot Entertainment is producing the story of a young man must reconnect with his estranged father and get him home to his ailing mother's bedside. Production is set to begin in February in Louisiana and other parts of the Deep South.

Odd Lot principals Deborah Del-Prete and Gigi Pritzker have joined Wim Wenders as executive producers while Justin Moore-Lewy and Charlie Mason will produce through Perfect Weekend along with Meredith, David Schiff, Jordan Foley and Laurie Foxx.

'We are thrilled to be introducing this film the marketplace at Berlin,' Odd Lot International's Brian O'Shea said. 'Michael has a genuine vision that we know will translate well to the screen, especially with the presence of Jeff, Justin, Mary and the rest of the cast.'

'Michael wrote a great script. A true Road Movie with a dramatic and emotional story,' Wenders said. 'The combination of this gifted young director with his first-class cast will certainly produce a film that will appeal to audiences everywhere.'

Odd Lot International's EFM slate features comic book adaptation The Spirit, which is currently in post-production, as well as the spoof disaster film Armageddagain.

ICM packaged The Open Road and is handling North American sales. Jonathan Gray at Gray Krauss represents the producers.
