Odeon Film, co-producer of Gregor Jordan's Buffalo Soldiers, has received the greenlight from the German Stock Exchange to switch his company listing from the Neuer Markt and start trading on the Regulated Market (Geregelter Markt) from December 2.

An official statement explained the move 'as a reaction to the present situation in the capital markets' and quoted. Hans Joachim Mendig, board spokesman and responsible for Odeon's TV production activities, as saying that 'the extensive obligations to publish, the monitoring by two designated sponsors as well as the special information needs of the Neuer Markt' had led to 'enormous additional costs' compared to the Regulated Market.

Odeon's decision comes in the wake of similar steps by other media stocks such as Senator Entertainment and Das Werk who have moved or are in the process of moving out of the Neuer Markt.
