UK sales company Odyssey Entertainment has taken on worldwide rights excluding Australia and New Zealand to One Perfect Day.

A portrait of dance party culture, the film is directed by first time director Paul Currie and produced by Australia's Lightstream Films.

One Perfect Day tells the story of Tommy Matisse, a gifted 22 year old musician who breaks out of the sheltered confines of the Royal Academy of Music in London and returns to Australia where he gets involved in an underground nightclub famed for its cutting edge dance music.

The film will have its market premiere at the forthcoming AFM. Roadshow Films have scheduled One Perfect Day for a Feb 19 release in Australian cinemas.

The film's soundtrack includes Fat Boy Slim, The Dust Brothers, Underworld, Ms Dynamite, Robert Smith, Groove Armada, Queens of the Stone Age, Orbital, Laurent Garnier and Paul Van Dyk.
