Independentdistributor Optimum Releasing has acquired all UK rights to Rian Johnson's Brickandpurchased UK rights to Jeff Wadlow's Cry Wolf from Focus Features. The deal is the first between Focus andOptimum.

Brick was awarded the Special Jury Prize at this year'sSundance Film Festival and is the story of a high-school loner who embarks on amission to track down his girlfriend's killer.

Cry Wolf, which features Julian Morris, Lindy Booth, JaredPadalecki and Jon Bon Jovi, is the tale of a game that turns terrifyingly real.After the murder of a young woman, local high school students decide to furtherscare their classmates with the rumour that a serial killer called "The Wolf"is on the loose by describing his next victims. When the described victims actually do end up dead, thestudents themselves become the hunted.
