Darclight Films has closed a raft of sales on the comedy-horror caper Botched from Joel Silver's Zinc Entertainment.

Rights have gone to Optimum in the UK, Legend Media in Germany, Dutch Film Works in Benelux, Ukrainian DVD in CIS and Eastern Europe, Imagem in Brazil, PT Amero in Indonesia, and Gulf in the Middle East.

Kit Ryan directed the tale about the chaotic convergence of twin serial killers, insane hostages and Russian hardmen, and Steven Dorff, Bronagh Gallagher and Jaime Murray star.

'Our partners at Zinc have really delivered on this film, we're expecting to lock off the rest of the world by the end of Berlin,' Darclight managing director Gary Hamilton said.

'We're very excited that Optimum has come on board; we believe they will do a great theatrical release and make this film a huge success in the UK, which will set the tone for the world,' president of international sales Jonathan Deckter added.

Darclight previously handled sales on Wolf Creek, Trapped Ashes, and the upcoming genre title Perfect Creature, which Fox will release in North America. Silver launched Zinc Entertainment in 1999.
