Darclight Films has closed a number of sales on the thriller StormWarning, which iscurrently in post-production and stars Nadia Fares, Robert Taylor and JohnBrumpton.

Deals have concluded with Optimum in the UK and Square One inGermany. Rights previously went to Manga (Spain), Dutch Filmworks (Benelux), Noble(Scandinavia), Imagem (Brazil), Spenzos (Greece), CLMC (Portugal), Fida(Turkey) and Gulf (Middle East).

Jamie Blanks directed the story from a screenplay by Everett DeRoche about a young couple that becomes stranded in a swamp during a boating tripand pick the wrong home to take shelter in.

"We are so excited about what we've seen on the film, we are finalisingour next project to do with director Jamie Blanks, which we plan to announceshortly" Darclight general manager Gary Hamilton, who is producing withPeter Ford, said.

"We're very excited that Optimum and Square One have bothshown confidence in the film," president of international sales Jonathan Decktersaid. "Based on the great reaction to the footage we have, we're lookingforward to locking off the rest of the world during AFM."

Darclight's credits include Wolf Creek, vampire title Perfect Creature that will be released domesticallythrough Fox, and horror anthology Trapped Ashes.
