BrianO'Shea has joined Media 8 Entertainment, formerly MDP Worldwide, assenior vice president of worldwide distribution.

In his new postO'Shea will be responsible for all licensing and sales activities for thecompany, which is in the process of expanding its production and financingoperations.

He previouslyserved as senior vice president of worldwide sales at Overseas Filmgroup andbefore that was vice president of international sales at Concorde-New Horizons.

In other appointments, Jenna Piccolo returns as seniorvice president of business and legal affairs, Christa Zofcin has been appointeddirector of business and legal affairs and Randy Dannenberg has joined thecompany's development team as creative executive.

Piccolo will beprimarily responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company'sbusiness affairs and legal matters. She previously served as a partner withboutique firm Business Affairs and before that was vice president of businessand legal affairs for MDP Worldwide.

Zofcin willreport to Piccolo in all capacities. Prior to Media 8, she served as businessand legal affairs counsel to Michael King of King World Productions and seniorfinancial analyst at MGM.

As creativeexecutive, Dannenberg's responsibilities include the evaluation andco-ordination of film submissions and he will take an active involvement in thedevelopment of all current Media 8 projects.

He will continueto work closely in the acquisition and development of projects in connectionwith Handprint Entertainment's first-look deal with Media 8.
