Jean-Pierre Jeunet’s Micmacs (pictured) and Rickie Stern and Annie Sundberg’s Joan Rivers – A Piece Of Work bookend the 53rd San Francisco International Film Festival on April 22.

Josh Radnor’s Sundance hit happythankyoumoreplease is the centerpiece screening on May 1 and the line-up of competition contenders from the New Directors, world cinema and documentary strands includes Lebanon, Winter’sBone, Lourdes, I Am Love, Alamar, CairoTime, Restrepo, and Mugabe And The White African.

As previously announced, Robert Duvall, Focus Features CEO James Schamus, and Walter Salles will receive career awards, while renowned editor Walter Murch will give the State Of Cinema address.
