Gwyneth Paltrow is to behonoured with the ShoWest 2004 Distinguished Decade of Achievement in FilmAward at the 30th anniversary film expo in Las Vegas later this month.

"For the past decade,Gwyneth Paltrow has delivered one sensational performance after another," MitchNeuhauser, co-managing director of the event, said in a statement.

"With such varied roles infilms such as Seven, Emma, Sliding Doors, A Perfect Murder, The Talented MrRipley, Shallow Hal, and of course,her Oscar winning turn in Shakespeare In Love, not to mention this past year's Sylvia, she has cultivated a career filled with memorableand exceptional characters."

Paltrow won the AcademyAward in 1999; she appears this year in the adventure picture Sky CaptainAnd The World Of Tomorrow.

She is currently reprisingher stage role for the big screen version of Proof, based on David Auburn's play about a young womanand her dying maths genius father.

Previous DistinguishedDecade of Achievement in Film Award recipients include Nicolas Cage and NicoleKidman. ShoWest will take place from Mar 22-25.
